Accessibility Statement

Godman Trucking is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability or the technology they use to browse.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with visual, hearing, motor and cognitive disabilities.

• Every animation on this site respects the operating system's “reduce motion” setting — the scrolling road becomes a still image and content appears without movement
• The site can be navigated by keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a “skip to content” link at the top of every page
• Semantic HTML — real headings, lists, form labels and landmark regions — so screen readers can announce the structure
• Form fields have associated labels, and validation errors are announced and linked to the field they belong to
• Text and interactive elements are checked for colour contrast against their background
• Decorative graphics, including the animated road, are hidden from assistive technology so they do not add noise
• The layout reflows down to small screens without horizontal scrolling, and text can be zoomed

Accessibility is ongoing rather than finished. We are aware of the following, and are working on them:

• The trailer side-profile diagrams convey deck shape visually. Each has a text label and the same specifications are given as text nearby, but the diagrams themselves are not described in full detail.
• This site has been tested against automated checks and manual keyboard review, but has not yet been through a formal third-party audit or user testing with assistive technology users.
