This website is operated by Godman Trucking (“we”, “us”, “our”), an open-deck freight carrier operating in Canada and the United States.

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

These terms govern your use of this website only. They do not govern the transportation of freight.

Any actual movement of goods is governed by a separate transportation agreement, our rate confirmation and the bill of lading for that shipment, together with the transportation law applicable in the jurisdictions the freight moves through — in Canada, the United States, or both on a cross-border move. Where those documents conflict with anything on this website, those documents control.

A quote requested through this site is an estimate based on the information you provide. It is an invitation to do business, not a binding contract, and it does not reserve equipment.

• A quote becomes binding only when confirmed in writing by us on a rate confirmation
• Quotes assume the dimensions, weight and description you gave are accurate and complete
• If the load differs from what you described, the rate may change or we may be unable to carry it
• Quoted rates may be affected by permit costs, escort requirements, route restrictions, detention and access at either end
• Unless stated otherwise, a quote is valid for a limited period and is subject to equipment availability

• Give accurate and complete information about the freight, including dimensions, weight and any hazard or handling requirement
• Make sure you are entitled to arrange transport of the goods
• Ensure the freight is properly prepared and accessible for loading at the agreed time
• Tell us promptly if anything about the load or the schedule changes

Inaccurate dimensions or weights are the single most common cause of a failed or delayed open-deck move, because they determine the trailer, the axle configuration and the permits. Please check them.

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information through any form on this site
• Use the site to send spam, or to harvest contact details
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers or any connected system
• Interfere with the normal operation of the site, including by automated scraping that degrades service
• Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable regulation

The Godman Trucking name, logo, and the text, layout, graphics and diagrams on this site are our property or used with permission, and are protected by intellectual property law. You may view and print pages for the purpose of evaluating or using our services.

You may not copy, republish, or use our name or logo to imply endorsement or affiliation without our written permission.

This site may link to websites we do not control. We provide those links for convenience only. We are not responsible for their content, their accuracy or their privacy practices, and a link does not imply endorsement.

This website and its content are provided “as is”. Equipment specifications, capacities and dimensions shown are typical figures for each trailer class and are provided for general guidance. They are not a warranty about any specific unit, and the right equipment for your load is confirmed when we quote it.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profit, revenue, data or business, arising out of your use of this website.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for our own fraud, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Our liability for the carriage of goods is governed by the transportation documents for that shipment and by applicable transportation law, not by this section.

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always the one posted on this page, with the “last updated” date shown. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
